Hearing care providers have had to familiarize themselves with changes to Bluetooth® technologies for nearly two decades! In this course we will unpack their latest innovation, Auracast™, and how it will allow hearing aid users to seamlessly connect to the world around them.   • Review the history of Bluetooth and other wireless technologies that have been incorporated into hearing aids.

  • Gain an understanding of how Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast Broadcast Audio will be used with new hearing aids.

  • Understand the barriers people with hearing aids face when using current wireless technologies.

Dale is a proud Hearing Instrument Specialist graduate from Conestoga College. Since his H.I.S. completion, Dale has worked as the Clinic Manager and clinician at a busy retail hearing clinic in Ontario. He has developed his clinical skills working with a variety of patients and hearing aids over 3 years in a clinical setting. Dale has been with GN Hearing since 2019, where he held Sales and Training roles, and now he currently works as the National Field Trainer for GN ReSound Canada. Outside of GN Hearing, Dale enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends and loves cooking on his Big Green Egg charcoal barbecue.
